1 welded=145psi,
so 500*145=72500psi বা 72 Grade rod.

72500psi হলো রডের ঈল্ড শক্তি ।লোড এর বেশি হলে রড টেনশনে ব্যর্থ হবে ।ফলে স্ট্রাকচার fail করবে ।

অথবা:-
5oo w. 500 = 500 MPA = 72500 psi (the yield strength of steel, fy) and W = weldable (it is means that one can use welding method to joint / lap even welding is not appropriate for general 40G/60G MS rod).
