Home inspections are a good time to start calculating your Cash on Cash return. In the rental market anything north of 15% is considered a win but we aim for 20%. 25% is a home run. Add in the tax advantages and rental real estate is a really good play.

Your rental profits annually - cost to finance / cash you put up including repairs.

Good rule of thumb to follow if your trying to get in the game.
