Are you interested in meeting with other adults to read and discuss engaging books each month? Join us at the Cathy Ivey Community Library on Tuesday, June 2 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM for Meg’s Book Club! This month, we’ll be discussing Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut.

Start your little ones on the path to Print Literacy at the Mary Vinson Memorial Library with Baby Story Time! This program is designed to help babies ages 0-2 start developing their reading and vocabulary skills through stories, rhymes, music, and movement. Drop in for a story on Thursday, June 4 from 11:00 to 11:30 AM, where parents and caregivers can also learn skills to help babies continue their reading journeys at home.

If you’re new to using desktop computers or just looking to refresh your tech skills, the Bloomfield Library’s Computer Basics Class can help you strengthen your Digital Literacy. Stop by on Friday, June 5 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, where you’ll learn about the basic components of a computer, how they work, and how to perform essential tasks.
