Positive Energy Dog Training

Addie is with us for dog aggression, but before we can start to address the main issue, we have to get her under control and focused. During our assessment, Addie’s owner explained how she isn’t able to walk Addie due to how hard she pulls on the leash. How we start our walks sets the tone for how our dogs will behave on walks, so we started by making sure Addie can walk calmly next to her owner.

In addition to dog aggression, Addie also chased cats and has some pretty bad anxiety. After a week of building her confidence and working on her manners, we were able to start taking walks around the neighborhood. Today was our second walk and Addie was able to maintain calm while seeing another dog and a cat from a distance (not in this video).
