Jims drums

Well.....I bought one of those "Duallist" bass drum pedals. It requires some additional thought to make it work right, but I figured it out. The hardest thing is to NOT overuse it. Most songs don't need a 32nd note bass drum beat!!

Went out and played drums at Smilin Jim's Friday Night Open Mic . Some great musicians and some real fun. I had a great time. Thsnks to all!!

Lots of snow/cold!! But we are still rock and rolling on the drums!!

How is everyone doing in this China Virus Lockdown? I had a promising audition with an interesting band in the Crestwood area. I am waiting for an OK to move forward. I am practicing on their songs, hopefully this can get me back out there playing drums. More to follow!!

Have an audition to play with Flipside band tonite. Feeling confident as I worked with the Bass player before. Hopefully this could be the start of something great!! Will keep you posted!
