Toombs County Schools proudly recognized and honored its retirees for their years of dedicated service, commitment, and lasting impact on the students, staff, and families of our school community at the May 12, 2026 Board of Education meeting. Their hard work, leadership, and passion for education have helped shape the success and future of Toombs County Schools, and we are grateful for the legacy they leave behind.

Renovation of Historic Booster Stadium “The Pit”!
We are excited to share our progress and facility projects as we continue to grow and chase excellence for our students, staff, and community.
At Toombs County Schools, we are proud to showcase the renovation of Historic Booster Stadium “The Pit”. This project will serve as a source of pride for generations to come.
The state-of-the-art renovation combines tradition with innovation to create an unforgettable experience for our students, staff, and community.
The upgraded facility includes new home and visitor locker rooms, expanded restroom facilities, a state-of-the-art video board, enhanced brick and veneer aesthetics, and full handicap accessibility throughout the stadium. Every detail of this project was designed to improve functionality, elevate the game day atmosphere, and create a first-class experience for everyone who walks through the new and improved ticket booth entry point.
“The Pit” has always been a special place in Toombs County and this renovation ensures that tradition, pride, and Bulldog excellence will continue for years to come.
