The Frame Master

A WEEK OF RUSTIC ELEGANCE. Ok, so this one may actually qualify as “sleek elegance” but it deserves a spotlight. My friends at were in need of a replacement round hardwood frame. They also expressed a preference for walnut and approved a newer (read: not weathered) finish. I knew my friend Hector at had recently created a handful of round frames for another client of his so I tapped him for this project. The final product was stunning and the intaglio should be very happy in her new home!

A WEEK OF RUSTIC ELEGANCE. Throwback to a classic, wood & gilt closed-corner trio from Quattro. Of all lines I created at Regence, I definitely had the most fun with the Rustic Elegance collection. When I joined the company, there were two wood finishes (Bronzino & Rosewood). About 10 years in, I began designing & adding new distressed woods including Banya, Mora, Pino, Amara and Olivewood. I’m proud that each of these fun finishes I created are alive and well and finding new life at Quattro Frames!

“FRAMES IN WHITE SATIN 🎶” My friends at will occasionally throw a few thematic samples together and send me a couple of pics. I kinds fell in love with this white assortment for two reasons. Firstly, I appreciate they are purposefully reinventing the Gerlach classics with contemporary finishes. Secondly, I’m diggin’ the bold white / leaf combinations they’re creating. Ziello is definitely one closed-corner frame maker to keep an eye on!
