The parade will take place rain or shine! Bring your family, friends, and community spirit as we honor 125 years of bravery, dedication, and service. Line Merrick Road, cheer on the parade, and stay afterward for food, music, and family fun at Greis Park.

The Doughboy ceremony is still on as planned and will take place at the village hall.

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, The Lynbrook Fire Department held a recruitment meet and greet at the Earle Avenue parking field, as part of New York State’s 17th annual Recruit NY campaign, to attract additional volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel, as well as junior firefighters, to join the Lynbrook Fire Department. Events like this have been held each year by volunteer firefighters throughout the state.
