Continuing our series of linac characteristics captured by Blue Physics, we are bringing you pre-calibrated measurements made at the ZAP-X, San Carlos facility. There are 31 pulses in a MU from ZAP-X.

Ever wondered what a single monitor unit (MU) looks like up close?
This measurement from a Varian Halcyon gives us a glimpse. There are always 12 pulses within one MU from a Halcyon machine.

It was a pleasure delivering the Blue Physics Model 11 for Baozhou Sun at Baylor St Luke's, Houston, TX. Following installation and training, we used the BlueSmallField application to center and measure the width of each field as recommended by TRS 483 and calculate output factors for their Varian Edge.
