Many of you know that I serve on the Board of There Goes My Hero, a blood cancer nonprofit founded by my good friend Erik Sauer. His life was saved when a girl he did not know from Germany donated bone marrow to help him fight leukemia. Her name is Isabel and she is a HERO.

This October, my fellow board members and other volunteers and I raised money as part of the virtual HeroPalooza. I participated with my daughter in support of Hero so that they can continue to do amazing things. Over the last ten years we have:

21,755 people added to the bone marrow registry
151,552 meals delivered to patients
365 bone marrow matches found
42 life saving bone marrow transplants
