Finished cleaning up tenons. I originally cut them to 2 inches. I don't have a router bit that is long enough to safely cut a 2 1/8"- 2 1/4" mortise. I ended up cutting tenons to 1 1/4*.

Cutting mortises in trestle pieces. They aren't the prettiest, but they will work for what I need. I made cheap mortising jig to cut them.
I'll glue the three pieces together for four assemblies. Also I have to cut tenon's on the upright pieces and get everything squared up.

I followed assembly instructions. I think the failure was attaching the braces to center post first. I will recut and rebuild. At least I rurnt free lber and not hardwood. They look decent, alone, but definitely not square not identical.

Running boards threw the planer, first to flatten one side, then I will run them through to achieve the thickness I want. Shooting for
1"- 1 1/4". These are for the dining room table I am building. The melamine board is a sled, the table boards are shimmed essentially using planer as a jointer.
