Superior Rating in Concert for the Gerdes JH Band

What an interesting year we've had, I know no one was expecting the Friday before Spring Break to be our last one together. I miss getting to make music with all of you in the Band Hall!

Sadly, the 2019-2020 school year will be my last year as your Junior High Band Director in Luling. I wholeheartedly wish I could have said goodbye in person and that we could have had our last concert together.

This was a very tough decision for me to make but I know you will all continue to succeed and grow in music together next year. I want everyone to know that I will cherish all the musical memories we created!

Important upcoming dates!

March 26th: UIL Concert and Sight-reading in Cuero. Performance at 1:50 (required: varsity only)

May 2nd: Solo and Ensemble contest in Yoakum (optional)

May 19th: Spring Concert in Fine Arts Building at 6:00 (required for all students)

Gerdes Junior High Christmas Concert will be Tuesday, December 17th at 6:00pm in the Fine Arts building! All students should report to the Band Hall at 5:30pm

The Gerdes Junior High pep band will be playing at the middle school pep rally tomorrow! This will be a small group of students who have been selected specifically for the performance.
