The latest class of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduates at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Lubbock campus were recently honored with a pinning and lamp lighting ceremony. Graduates received their BSN pins before their commencement ceremony at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock This May.
This tradition pays homage to Florence Nightingale, considered the mother and pioneer of nursing, who stayed up late at night checking on ailing soldiers in the hospital and on the battlefield during the Crimean War. 🪔
