Lord, May I Come to You Every Morning
At the beginning of each day
While my earthly thoughts are ‘still’ forming
From that very moment I awake!
May I look to find Your every promise
That the Psalmist does declare
Tucked away inside the commas
And brought to life in daily snares!
Cleanse my heart to fully love You
Beyond the shadows of the night
Lord, grant me wisdom in Your truth
As Your Word unveils the enemy I fight!
Give me power in Your deliverance
As I stand and watch You part the sea
Take away every act of my resistance
And Breathe Your Breath Inside Of Me!

Crossroads In Life’s Journey

My Child, Just Take a ‘deep’ breath
And begin to forge ahead
For there’s no greater depth
Than My joy BEYOND dread!
It’s when your eyes are on Me
In your many crossroads in life
That You’ll find joy in the journey
Beneath MY Glorious Light!
These are just ‘everyday’ seasons
Along the steps of your path
Where each crossroad brings reason
To the strengths that you have.
One day you’ll awaken to clearly SEE
All of the treasures upon life’s road
As you followed MY path and trusted ME
Even in times when you felt so alone!
