Today was one of the hardest days of the trip for Team Liberia 🇱🇷. They traveled two hours into the African bush to a small school and church planted out there.

Once they arrived, they hosted a Health Workshop, teaching the kids how to wash their hands, brush their teeth, choose healthy foods, and know their safe adults. These are lessons most of these kids have had little exposure to, but ones that will have real implications on their health and lives for years to come.

Every child also went home with a small sealed bag filled with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, hand soap, bandaids, and hand sanitizer.

After the packs were handed out, the team shifted to the adults and passed out benevolence bags to 200 families in need.

There are no easy explanations for the amount of hunger and hurt our group witnessed today. But there is hope. There is always hope in a God who will wipe away every tear and bring restoration to every person.

We are grateful to be part of God’s plan today.
