Assembly Worker - Temporary Assignment

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM | Occasional Friday shifts

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and motivated Assembly Workers for a reputable client in Lubbock, Texas. This is a temporary assignment perfect for individuals looking for light industrial work in a clean and engaging environment. As an Assembly Worker, you'll perform simple assembly jobs, stacking, stocking, and lifting tasks (30-45 lbs) as part of a production team. The position offers competitive pay starting at $13.00 to $14.00 per hour , with a convenient day shift schedule from Tuesday through Thursday and occasional Fridays as business demands. Key Responsibilities

* Perform simple assembly tasks to prepare products for distribution
* Stack, stock, and organize materials and finished products
* Lift and move boxes or materials weighing 30-45 lbs safely and efficiently
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production and warehouse areas
* Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
* Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
* Perform other light industrial duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Previous experience in light industrial work , assembly jobs , or warehouse jobs preferred but not required
* Ability to lift and carry 30-45 lbs throughout the shift
* Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Good attendance and punctuality
* Willingness to work occasional Fridays based on production needs
* Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position is performed in a warehouse environment typical of light industrial work settings. Employees should expect:

* Standing, bending, and moving for up to 8-10 hours per shift
* Frequent lifting and carrying of 30-45 lbs
* Repetitive hand motions and handling of various materials
* Exposure to varying temperatures typical of warehouse operations
* Occasional loud noise levels and potential dust or odors associated with industrial processes
* Adherence to all required personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines

Motor Mechanic Apprentice Responsibilities

* Tearing down motors for repair and performing detailed inspections.
* Cleaning motor components and running tests to ensure functionality.
* Preparing and reassembling motor parts through tasks such as blasting, cleaning, filing, and painting .
* Collaborating with other departments as directed by the supervisor to meet production deadlines.
* Utilizing the Epicor MES computer system for daily documentation.
* Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including storage areas and motor components.

This role offers a hands-on environment where you will build foundational skills critical for a long-term career in motor assembly and repair.

Requirements for the Motor Mechanic Apprentice

The ideal candidate for this role will bring a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for mechanics. Specific qualifications include:

* A high school diploma or GED .
* 2+ years of mechanical experience (preferred but not required for motivated candidates).
* A basic set of mechanical tools .
* Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively.
* Basic computer proficiency .
* Steel toe boots and a commitment to workplace safety.

Production Associate - Packing & Warehouse Operations | $15/Hour + Overtime

A growing Lubbock employer is hiring Production Associates to support its Packing, Shrink, Shipping, Returns, and Warehouse Operations teams. These are full-time, long-term opportunities with consistent hours, overtime potential, and opportunities to cross-train in multiple departments.

What You'll Do

Depending on department assignment, responsibilities may include:

* Packaging and preparing products for shipment

* Assisting with shipping, returns, and inventory movement
* Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
* Meeting daily production goals while maintaining quality standards

What We're Looking For

* Dependable employees with strong attendance records
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
* Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
* Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
* Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, packing, or general labor experience is helpful but not required

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Current Schedule:

* Monday - Thursday: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
* Friday & Saturday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Additional overtime may be available based on production needs.

Schedules may adjust as staffing levels increase and operational demands change.
