In Lubbock ISD, senior walks have become a graduation week tradition. Students return to their former elementary and middle schools to say goodbye and inspire other students.

At our Commander William C. McCool Academy, the 2026 Senior Walk was extra special, because they welcomed their first class of high school graduates back to campus. We spoke with the Garcia family who've started a tradition of their own.
