Congratulations to Maryam Zubair, M.D., a pediatrics resident with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, on receiving 3rd place in the Clinical & Research Trainees Poster Competition at the Center of Excellence in Obesity & Cardiometabolic Research Annual Meeting this month!

Dr. Zubair’s research examined obesity, PICU admission and respiratory support in children hospitalized with acute asthma exacerbations. She is mentored by Weerapong Lilitwat, M.D., associate professor of pediatrics.
