Lubbock Lighthouse
Lubbock Lighthouse will be closed for the state and Federal Labor Day Holiday on Monday September 6, 2021. We will reopen on normal schedule on Tuesday, September 7.
Pete Ramos McLaughlin died late Sunday night. He was one of the founders of Lubbock Lighthouse and served as Program Sponsor and Chairman of the Board of Directors for many years. He loved the persons he served even when he had to hold discipline. He had a fun sense of humor and enjoyed teasing. His viewing will be from 3:00pm-7:00pm on Friday at Combest funeral home and his funeral will be on Saturday at 10:00 am at St Paul of the Plains Episcopal Church. The times are posted at the clinic and clients are encouraged to attend if they appreciated Pete.
Lubbock Lighthouse will be closed on Monday July 5, 2021 for Independence Day holiday. Take homes will be given for that holiday. We will reopen Tuesday at normal dispensing and counseling hours. Have a good holiday!
We are aware of Governor Abbott’s removal of his mask mandate for COVID-19, but the Board and staff of Lubbock Lighthouse have decided to extend the mask requirement for all clients at this time. We will review Lubbock hospitalization and death statistics after one month and if the stats are an improvement then we will remove the mask requirement. Stay safe and continue to call ahead if you have symptoms of COVID.
