The message to the church at Sardis is revealing. They needed a resurrection, not a revival. The call to Awake indicates that a resurrection is in order. O that our churches could see ourselves as the Head of the churches sees us. But the Lord who sent this letter is fully able to do whatever needs to be done in His church.
