Some journeys have a way of bringing us home. ❤️

Laura has loved horses for as long as she can remember, and Vinceremos has been part of her story since the 1980s, when our program was located off Lake Worth Road. After life took her on many adventures, she's found her way back - and we're so grateful she did!

Today, Laura spends her time helping our riders discover the incredible joy of horseback riding. Her favorite part? Watching each rider's confidence, independence, and skills blossom week after week. Those moments remind her why she loves volunteering so much.

And if you ask Laura who her favorite horse is, the answer comes instantly: Sugar!🐴 With her gentle spirit and sweet personality, Sugar has captured Laura's heart - and the hearts of so many riders.

Are you a licensed therapist in Florida who believes in the healing power of the human-horse connection? Vinceremos Therapeutic Horsemanship Center is looking for a compassionate, experienced professional to join our Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) team in Loxahatchee, FL!

This part-time, flexible position is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with horses to make a meaningful, lasting impact on children and families.

📋 Position Highlights:
The Role: Provide individual equine-assisted mental health services primarily to children and adolescents, partnering directly with our equine specialists.

The Schedule: Part-time, hourly. Requires weekday afternoon/evening (after-school) and weekend availability.

The Setting: Beautiful outdoor farm environment where horses are true partners in trauma-informed, evidence-based care.

What We’re Looking For:
Current Florida Licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.).

Experience working with children and adolescents.

Comfortable working outdoors (previous horse handling or riding experience is preferred).

Preference given to candidates credentialed with (or eligible for) CMS Health Plan and Sunshine Health Medicaid.
