Holy Invasion

Yesterday morning I was praying and I was asking God to change my heart. After a few minutes I got a little frustrated because I have been praying that same prayer for some time. So, I began to express my frustration with God and after about 30 seconds I heard Holy Spirit say to me "Then bring it to Me". Most of the time we think that there's some complicated formula that we have to follow in order to see results, but not with God. For a true heart change all you have to do is bring your heart to Him in prayer and surrender. The Bible says in Ezekiel 36:26-27 26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.

All that God requires is that we seek Him and He'll do the dirty work. To me that's incredibly liberating. So, if you're prayer has been "God change me" then just bring your heart to God and He'll take care of the rest.

This morning while ironing my shirt I was pondering on the fact that it's impossble to iron clothes effectively without heat. In life we often go through tough/stressful situations, but God strategicly uses the heat from those situations to iron the wrinkles out of us. It's mind blowing that God can use situations that we deem useless and hurtful to make us better people. So, if you're going through something you should rejoice! Being fully confident that God personally has His hand on you, crafting you from one level of amazing to another!

We should avoid calling God our "CO-PIOLT". If we are unable to see over the steering wheel of life, then how can we see where we're going?? God is the only One Who can see all things and knows all things, so in that case He should be your PILOT because He see's life's roads like sattlelite from an overhead and all around view. We should never rely on our limted foggy view of things, but always trust Him.
