Hello Farm Friends,

We hope you all are enjoying your winter slumber. We have been cleaning, organizing, and prepping to begin seeding our starter plants. One of our farmers put all of the cardboard her family gathered during the holidays and started spreading it out as a way to suppress weeds and m, once the boxes start breaking down, feed the soil.

Come see us at the 61st Street Farmers market tomorrow inside of Experimental Station from 9am-2pm. We will have a very limited selection of mixed lettuce, turnip greens, and baby collard greens. We will also have potato bags, onions, dried herbs, dried flower bouquets, and winter squash from our friends at Zandstra Farms.

We offer delivery to your door, anywhere in Chicago or the Chicagoland area. The delivery window is between 8am-1pm on Saturdays.

We offer pickup from the farm on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We also offer pickup from the 61st Street Farmer’s Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. If you are choosing this option, please write “pick up at 61st” in the comments box at checkout to help us avoid any confusion.

We have dried basil, dried mint, fresh ginger, mixed lettuce, kale, spicy mix, leeks, onions, potatoes, carrots, parsley, sage, thyme, Greek oregano, and dried bouquets from our farm. We will also have pie pumpkins, butternut, acorn, spaghetti, and kabocha squash from Zandstra Farms.

ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY MIDNIGHT ON THURSDAYS.

Our crew arrives at the farm just before sunrise every morning and get to watch the sun break the horizon and rise while its rays shine through the branches of the trees that line the path to the back field. The scenery never gets old.

The fall crop of sunflowers surprised us because there are SO MANY. Eva had her hands full and there were still more. Be sure to get a bunch from us tomorrow!
