Now that I have your attention:

On October 22nd I am going to repel from a building in Philly in support of Outward Bound School. You can read more if you swipe, but essentially it’s a non-profit changing kids lives through challenging them to step out of their comfort zone & grow.

Link in bio to donate in supporting kids growing from stepping out of their comfort zone- and also me- who will definitely be shaking as I do.

Growth comes at the end of your comfort zone!

Ya’ll remember our fav military podcast guest right?

Wanted to share him standing in honor of the fallen service members in Afghanistan. Let’s all remember during this time that those people matter. Those families are hurting. And we are thinking of them.

Military members, veterans, families of service members, and any other person connected to this is struggling right now and wicked psyched wants you to know we are here for you.

Been quiet in posting content so wanted to share a few personal things:

1. One of the reasons I practice as a coach not a licensed therapist is that I can have a slightly different relationship with my athletes than I would if I were a therapist. Texting, sharing some personal info when relevant to their situation, and coaching them in their sport when appropriate as well (aka softball players mostly)
2. I have to practice the skills I teach as well, while some@have gotten much better, some I still struggle with. It’s a MARATHON NOT A SPRINT.
3. I see a therapist too: and I finally got to see her on Monday. She helped me realized I was living in high stress & adrenaline level for months and I finally have a chance to recover from that. The only way to recover is a crash to play catch up- so that’s what I am doing- sleeping a lot, feelings of depression, etc. but it’s ok because now that I am aware of that I can accept it and refocus my energy I do have on the right things!
3. Holy crap my full time job has been overwhelming but also rewarding! It’s a job in the mental health space and that makes all the difference on long hard days! I know we are making a difference!
4. I’ve had an influx of new clients and I love meeting new athletes I can help- keep the referrals coming followers!
5. Will be focused back on posting content starting next week so keep an eye out for more psychological tips!

P.S. notice- I didn’t apologize for my lack of posting- 😉 and the many others who are working on this- stop apologizing!

Thanks for understating followers! Be ready for info overload soon!
