As per CDC, Adults need 7 or more hours of sleep a night and 1 in 3 adults don't get enough sleep. Sleep offers the body and brain time to restore and recover, affecting nearly every tissue of the body. According to Sleep Foundation, without sleep, people tend to overeat and choose unhealthy foods. Sleep deprivation makes the body release more ghrelin and leptin which tells our brain to consume more food.
