One of the things that matters most to me is helping kids grow in confidence and feel good about themselves. Art gives them a place to create, try new things, and be proud of what they’ve made.
drawing, and more, they’re not just making projects—they’re discovering what they’re capable of.

Food Bins at The Workroom:
Thank you to whoever stocked the food bins with some supplies tonight! 🥰 Im not even sure what all It was, but I know some of It has already been taken and I’m sure very much needed and appreciated.
Tomorrow afternoon we will be stocking it with some more food in preparation for the coming storm. I had intended to stop it after Christmas but it has continued to be regularly used when we are able to stock it up. After this storm, they will be moved to the west side of the building where fhey can be out of the walkway, but still be monitored by cameras.
If anyone would like to contribute, you can drop items by anytime, day or night. If you have any questions or Ideas on needed Items, just message me.
Stay warm and be safe in this upcoming winter storm!❄️I hope there’s enough snow for some snowmen ☃️and snow forts this weekend! 🩷

Art classes start back this next Monday for all kids classes! They are only $50 per month and the kids meet once a week for an hour and a half.
We will be doing drawing exercises, painting, clay, mosaic, fiber art, paper crafts, and much more!
My goal in class is to create an atmosphere of acceptance, encouragement and community. I want them to feel like they have come to their safe place to create, laugh and form true connections. We put away the phones, turn on some music and use our hands to create and our mouths to talk, smile and laugh.
If this sounds like a good fit for your kiddo, check out the schedule below and give me a call or text!

I tossed my paint, I couldn’t resist, check in downtown—I insist! An artsy space where families create, with crafts and color that decorate!

I have to brag on our little community here in Lovington. I was hesitant when my daughter wanted to start the community bins during the Govt shutdown. I didn’t know how they would be received by some. I imagined I would get comments that people just needed to get a job or quit depending on the Government. I also didn’t know how the bins would be treated since they were outside. But, the thought of hungry people, especially children, spurred us on.
Since then, multiple people have replenished the bins with a wide variety of supplies. Also, when people come to get things, they are very respectful and get what they can use and re-secure the lids before they go. It has been a kind of refresher in the goodness of humanity for me.
We will, for sure, continue the bins until after Christmas and I’m not sure what will become of them after the holidays. For now, it’s an unofficial way for anyone to give directly to our community needs and a way for people to feed themselves on the spur of the moment.
Presently, I filled the bins yesterday with mostly canned goods and some pasta dishes. I also put a few personal hygiene items in the non perishable bin. I have noticed that we’ve had around 5 people come to get supplies since then, so I’m not sure how much is left. If you have an overflow of non-expired food in your pantries, consider dropping some off. They have to be something that won’t ruin in whatever climate is going on at the moment. I know whatever you give is very appreciated.
Thank you, Lovington.
