Lhasa Apso Rescue - Colorado
12/25/2025
In this season of cold winds and restless minds, I curl close to the hearth of your days. I was born of mountains that know storms well—they taught me that stillness is strength.
When the world feels loud and uncertain, remember the quiet gifts: warm hands, shared breath, a steady companion who does not leave when paths grow steep.
May this Christmas bring you pause,
like fresh snow softening hard ground.
May loyalty outshine fear, and may love—simple, watchful, enduring—guard your home and your heart.
I am here.
And that, in turbulent times,
is everything.
Namaste.

Boo to you!! Happy Halloween 👻🎃

Ahhh, the Lhasa Apso—a dog that looks like it lost a fight with a mop and decided to own it. These little furballs were bred as interior sentinels in Tibetan monasteries, but let’s be real: the only thing they’re guarding now is their personal space from your affection.
They strut around like they own the place, even though they’re basically sentient dusters with an attitude problem. Their hair is so long and luxurious you’d think they’re auditioning for a shampoo commercial but, in reality, it’s just a high-maintenance mess that turns into a walking knot if you skip one brushing session.
And don’t let their tiny size fool you—these dogs have the ego of a lion trapped in a teacup. They’ll bark at anything that moves, as if their 15-pound fluffball bodies could actually take on an intruder. Spoiler: they can’t. But they will absolutely judge you for trying to pet them when they’re not in the mood.
Basically, a Lhasa Apso is like a cranky old man trapped in a small, hairy body—demanding, opinionated, and convinced they’re the boss. And honestly? They probably are.
April Fools!! Unless you own one then you know that's a pretty good description of the wee ones ...
