Our IDB (Impact Development Builders) Team has been busy!
In late May, they attended the Buildertrend conference in Omaha, NE, gaining invaluable insight into the construction management software we utilize. They gained practical knowledge about leveraging Buildertrend's full capabilities to build scalable processes that will support the larger developments and increased construction volume on the horizon. We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in tools and training that will help our team scale efficiently, strengthen project management, and support the exciting growth ahead!
On June 26th, the team participated in 19th Annual Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament hosted by Loveland Housing Authority. While the team was just shy of podium-placement, they had a great time connecting with regional partners and enjoying the spectacular views at Marianna Butte.
Here's to growing our network, sharpening our skills, and maybe sinking a few putts along the way.

Impact Development Fund had the privilege of attending the Housing Action Professionals Peer Exchange Network (HAPPEN) outreach session in Durango, hosted by Housing Colorado. Our Director of Third-Party Commercial Lending, Ross Valdez, presented alongside representatives from Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, Community Resource Center, and Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County on strategies for building organization capacity to strengthen the productivity, impact, and long-term sustainability of housing organizations.
We were inspired by the incredible work being done throughout Southwest Colorado and are thankful for the opportunity to build new relationships, better understand the region's housing challenges, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

Recently, members of the IDF team attended Nebraska Investment Finance Authority’s 2026 Innovation Expo, where housing professionals, community partners, and industry leaders came together to share ideas and explore solutions for the future of housing.
Ross Valdez, Colton Clarke, and Meridith Dillon spent time engaging with peers across the industry, participating in conversations around policy, innovation, and the partnerships it takes to move housing forward.
And if you know Megan Ferguson, you can probably guess she was out and about, connecting with just about everyone in the room. 😉
We love opportunities like this to step outside of day-to-day work, exchange ideas, and bring new thinking back to the communities we serve.
