Long before Lucky Blu Ranch and our Highland Hello Mercantile called this building home, these walls echoed with the sound of horse shoes, the smell of leather, stories being told among long time friends and the incredible hardwork and talent of one of the finest saddle makers in the West. Rusty’s craftsmanship, dedication, and cowboy spirit left a lasting mark not only on this historic shop but on the ranching community across the country.

If you look closely you’ll see our cattle wearing ear tags featuring a leather tooling design with a very special one named Rusty May.

Today, Highland Hello Mercantile will be closed for a memorial to honor Rusty May in the very place where he spent decades living and creating works of art.

Thank you, Rusty, for leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship, community, and Western tradition that will continue to inspire generations to come. We are honored to carry on the Ag tradition at this beautiful property and we have loved getting to know your friends and family- listening to the incredible stories of the past as they stop in. ❤️
