A huge thank you to everyone who came out to explore the Big Thompson River and watershed with us this past Sunday—we had an incredible event with approximately 400 trekkers joining us for guided river adventures, interactive education stations, and plenty of hands-on learning.

We also gave away $1,100 in market bucks to attendees, which goes straight into the hands of local vendors at the market!

We’re so grateful to all our partners and station leads for sharing their time and knowledge, and to the City of Loveland Farmers Market for being such a fantastic event partner. We also want to give a big shout out to Northern Water and City of Loveland, who make the event possible with their sponsorships.

🎨 Exciting News for Trek the Thompson 2024! 🎨

We are thrilled to welcome the Plein Air Artists Colorado-PAAC to this year's Trek the Thompson! 🌿🏞️ Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to watch talented regional artists as they create landscape paintings of the Big Thompson River, Fairgrounds Park, and the nearby ponds—all in real-time! 🖌️

And that’s not all! Some of these artists will be generously donating their paintings to be included in our free prize raffle, giving you a chance to take home a one-of-a-kind piece of art. 🖼️
