St. Athanasius School Cleaning & Classroom Supply Drive Update!

Our parish and school community has already begun to step up, but we still have a long way to go to reach our goals before the new school year begins.

Every donation, no matter the size, directly supports our teachers and helps keep our classrooms stocked and ready for students.

Here's where we currently stand:

• Paper Towel Rolls: 48 collected / Goal: 570
• White Copy Paper (Reams): 7 collected / Goal: 1,110
• Clorox Wipes: 19 collected / Goal: 330
• Lysol Spray: 5 collected / Goal: 30
• Tissue Boxes: 19 collected / Goal: 990
• Baby Wipe Packs/Containers: 1 collected / Goal: 210
• Ziploc Bags – All Sizes (Boxes): 4 collected / Goal: 240

Deadline: The drive ends on Friday, July 31, so there's still plenty of time to pick up an extra item or two during your summer shopping trips.

JUST A REMINDER - S.A.W.S.S. General Meeting – July 7, 2026

BINGO Day!

S.A.W.S.S. invites all registered parishioners who are widows or senior singles to join us for faith, friendship, and fun. We are a group of women who enjoy laughter, companionship, and supporting one another. Whether you are sharing your talents or simply enjoying good company, there is a place for you here.

• When: Tuesday, July 7, beginning with Noon Mass
• Where: Parish Center Room A (for lunch and fellowship following Mass)
• What: BINGO Day! Whether you are a BINGO champion or just in it for the snacks and smiles, there is something for everyone.

• Meet new friends and reconnect with familiar faces.
• Enjoy lunch, fellowship, and a fun game of BINGO.
• All registered parish widows and senior singles are welcome.

New faces are always welcome, and so are old friends!

John H. Bischoff, 96, of Louisville, entered into eternal life on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

John was a founding member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church and the longtime owner of Bischoff Flooring. He will be remembered throughout our community for his hard work, honesty, and unwavering dedication to others. Whether serving his customers or enjoying fishing, golfing, and baseball, John's kindness and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Please keep John's children—Jack, Bruce, and Suzanne—along with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who loved him in your prayers during this difficult time.
