We are moving from The Power Agency to PowerScoppechio because of our merger with Scoppechio.

We are proud to announce that The Power Agency has been acquired by OvareGroup and has been merged with Scoppechio to create PowerScoppechio! This merger brings together two of the region’s historic legacies, outstanding talent and proven expertise.

Another beautiful day for our annual Co****le (competitive), Costumes (competitive) and Chili (non-competitive) event. The Co****le competition as usual was full of drama, and lots of "encouraging talk". Wednesday Win stole the costume limelight and much chili was consumed by all. It was the best of days.
This month’s all-hands meeting was a flippin’ good time. We welcomed the high-flying act from Chris Cakes Indiana to kick off our morning and get us sweetened up for an overview of our forthcoming brand messaging refinement and a review of our recent work.
And if you fancy yourself trained in the ways of flapjack catching, our very own Tom Herndon could use a lesson. 😉

After collecting new or gently used shoes at The Power Agency, we were able to donate 6 bags of shoes to WaterStep today! But, what does that mean?! Surely, our shoes can't have that much of an impact on the massive need for clean water in our state, let alone in our world. Man was I wrong!
Get ready for a little math 😀
Our 6 bags totaled approximately 120lbs of shoes. On average, a pair of shoes weighs 1lb. 3 pairs of shoes covers the cost for 1 person to have safe water every day! So that means our 6 bags of shoes will supply 40 people safe water for life!
To learn how donating shoes can make such a big impact, please check out https://waterstep.org/

With record temperatures over the past few weeks, we took a break and celebrated National Ice Cream month with our co-workers, kids and pets – and most importantly, Adam’s Chill Cart. Lots of frozen treats and smiles thanks to Adam and Scott Smith. Let’s do it again soon!

Today, we remember and celebrate David Power - a leader at both The Power Agency and throughout Louisville as a whole.
We strive to keep his creative spirit and work ethic alive in all the projects that come across our desks, while aiming to match his energy throughout our halls every single day.
Along with our efforts, this year has been a humbling reminder of David's impressive legacy outside of our walls. From scholarships given in his name to a tree planting ceremony to commemorate his and his father's philanthropic natures, The Power Agency continues to look up to David as a role model for all that we do, within our agency and throughout our community.
Cheers, David. We sure do miss you.

Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of the last enslaved persons in the United States. To honor this incredibly meaningful day, we have had several small events designed to be educational and ended with a trip to the Speed Art Museum’s exhibit of Stanford Biggers: Codeswitch. His artwork consist of mixed-media paintings and sculptures done directly on or made from antique American quilts. These pictures don’t begin to show the craftsmanship of this very talented artist.

Our afternoon field trip to Roots101 was both sobering and educational. The artifacts and the material on display allowed us to explore African American culture through art and interactive exhibits. We would highly recommend a guided tour. Roots101: African American Museum
