SHIFT HOURS ARE 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM

We are a Corrugated Packaging manufacturer.

We need skilled die cutter, and flexo folder gluer crew members.

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities:

Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
Test operation of machines periodically
Fix issues that might occur during the shift
Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Maintain activity logs
Skills

Proven experience as a machine operator
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
Understanding of production procedures
Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
Analytical skills
Attention to detail
Teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina and strength
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus

Job Description:

Learn to assist in set-up, operation, and clean up of the press- be able to perform duties as an operator after training.

Duties:
* Efficient and accurate set-up of machine operation per job run specifications

* Minimize waste of corrugated sheets, glue, and ink when applicable

* Quality control checks of material, print, die cut, etc.

* Inspection of die boards, print plate, anilox rolls, die jackets

* Supervise crew to achieve production schedule

* Train and assist crew members on proper machine operation and safety.

We need a forklift driver for FIRST shift in the warehouse.

Our hours are from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

We also do tend to work a lot of Saturdays. Yes, they will be mandatory.

We offer benefits with Humana on your very first day of employment, 401k, and quality bonus pay.

This is direct hire- No temp service.

It is basic- load and unload trucks using a sit-down, propane-fueled fork truck.

Scan everything everywhere you move it- make sure the paperwork is all correct.

We expect you to keep a clean, neat, SAFE- work area.

In 90 days, we will assess how you're doing and talk about a raise. (Job performance and attendance are critical- and yes we consider you to be "late" if you're clocking in after 5:00 am).
