But I'm not ready to let go of the bright colors and playful bunnies.

We're starting the weekend with a bit of an escape.

​This one is all about cool mountain air, tall evergreens, and bright wildflowers in the foreground. It's peaceful, a little bold with color, and a great way to reset after a busy Easter week.

We wrap things up with something bright and full of movement.

Colorful blooms, soft greens, and a few busy little bees buzzing through it all. It's light, cheerful, and really satisfying to paint as everything comes together.

This one is light, peaceful, and just really pretty to paint. A delicate dragonfly floats above a field of soft blooms in spring colors, and the whole thing has that calm, quiet feel to it.

It's the kind of painting you settle into and enjoy as you go.

Then Saturday shifts gears a bit.

This is our Southwest take on Van Gogh's Starry Night, with bold blue movement, glowing stars, and a bright moon over rolling desert hills and a tall cactus.

It's rich, expressive, and a really satisfying one to build layer by layer.​
⠀
This painting is also part of our Let's Gogh series for March, celebrating Van Gogh's birthday month.
⠀
All month long we're painting Van Gogh-inspired pieces. Sunflowers, starry skies, irises... the fun ones.
