Her name was Nelly. She was 8 years old when she and her mom went into hiding. The only way to survive was to hide! Why hide? Their crime was that they were different! Sounds familiar? Without the embrace of her Mom’s unshakable love and the humanitarian deed of a Catholic Polish family - she would have never made it. I would have never had the privilege to know her and to be gifted of her story. Let’s not forget our children. They are OUR future.
