New “Ferragosto” paintings now available directly from my webstore! (Link in bio). Ferragosto is named after the summertime holiday in Italy when almost nobody works, and most are at the beach basking in the sun.
This painting depicts a cluster of inflatable rafts and toys that merchants attach to their carts and trudge up and down the beach. Of course, I’ve added my own sensibilities to the characters and couldn’t resist a few nods to Jeff Koons with some figures chosen (bunny, monkey, lobster and seal). This painting is acrylic on canvas, measures 24x30” and is available directly from my website.
In addition to the larger Ferragosto painting, I’ve completed 2 studies to work out how to approach some of the techniques on a smaller scale before committing to the larger piece. Both are acrylic on board, 11x14” and are available directly from my website.

The Junior Women’s World Championship Inline Hockey is over. Congrats to the champs Team Spain! with USA winning silver and Namibia earning the bronze. Happy Wolf Skate was there to celebrate!! 🎉
