Georgia Republicans have rejected Trump’s plan to gerrymander the state’s congressional districts in today’s special session of the state legislature. Republican Governor Brian Kemp called the special session for today, but GOP lawmakers, facing protests, decided to slow down the process and may come back to it later.

Here we go again. Republicans have called a special session for tomorrow (Wednesday) to redraw congressional maps in Georgia to strip away even more Black voting power in the South.
