With local hospital visits for smoke inhalation spiking following the recent Lineage Logistics Warehouse Fire, we’re grateful that St. Joseph Center was able to distribute air purifiers to our dear neighbors in the Boyle Heights area who have been suffering from the impact of the incident.
Thank you United Way of Greater Los Angeles for donating the purifiers. This project is funded in part by L.A. Care Health Plan.

St. Joseph Center joined organizations from across California in Sacramento to advocate for $1 billion in Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention (HHAP) Round 8 funding.
HHAP has been one of California’s most effective tools for reducing homelessness, helping support housing placements, move-in assistance, time-limited subsidies, and critical services that create pathways to stability and permanent housing.
We were proud to stand alongside fellow advocates and service providers in the fight for the resources communities need to prevent and end homelessness.

As SNAP cuts continue to impact families across our community, access to basic needs and healthcare is more critical than ever. Thanks to donated wheelchairs, individuals with limited mobility can stay connected to services, maintain independence, and navigate daily life with greater ease.
St. Joseph Center partnered with the nonprofit Regalos de Dios (Gifts from God) to provide 25 wheelchairs to individuals in need.
This effort helps remove barriers and strengthen overall health and well-being across our community.
This vital work is supported by L.A. Care Health Plan.
