On December 13, teen leaders from PALS, the on‑campus mental health club at Torrey Pines High School, partnered with the Endurant Movement to create Miles & Smiles — a teen‑led kindness and fitness fundraiser where students turned pain into a powerful, ongoing conversation about mental health, su***de, and neurodiversity.

Huge gratitude to the San Diego Union-Tribune and reporter Karen Billing for shining such compassionate light on these young leaders and their vision in their recent story on how Miles & Smiles is bringing the Torrey Pines community together around mental health and su***de awareness.

To every student, family, and community member who walked, ran, volunteered, completed acts of kindness, or simply showed up: you’re helping GrOw hope forward for youth mental health, su***de awareness, and neurodivergent acceptance — proving that healing really does happen in community.

If you’re asking, “How can I get involved?” — join our January campaign 100 Voices Standing Together, inviting 100 people to give $25/month to fund Teen Voices, Endurant’s youth storytelling and mental health initiative rooted in connection and compassion.
