My brain hurts.

I just pulled 12 air fresheners out of this Airbnb.
Less than 2,000 sq ft.

This is what most people don’t realize:

Air fresheners don’t clean air.
They mask it by adding chemicals to it.

Many release VOCs (volatile organic compounds), which have been linked to:
• hormone disruption
• respiratory issues
• headaches and irritation

And in a lot of cases, they’re used to cover up problems like mold or poor air quality, not fix them.

If your air smells “clean,” that’s not a sign it’s clean.
It’s a sign something is being added to it.

Clean air shouldn’t need a scent.

Here’s the bigger issue:

This is a multi-billion dollar category.
People spend billions masking their air, many times more than they spend actually cleaning it.

Stop masking your air.
Start scrubbing it.
