Drums, 90s parties, and I got to do a masterclass at CU Boulder. So fun. I love teaching. Trying to figure out a way to do more of it.
Going to start reposting some old vids b/c why not? This one is from exactly 7 years ago: 3.23.19! Dang AVH is such a great drummer. Still not sure exactly how they originally recorded this, and it kind of doesn’t matter. Was it actually EVH’s idling Lambo playing some sick beats, as rock lore has suggested, or Alex’s version of some Krupa inspired rhythms going through the 1984 blender (bender?) I have no idea but here’s my 7 y/o version of it
