When they leave for Vegas, my love of the A's will continue, but I will not be a "Las Vegas A's" fan.

FUN FACT: John J. Marachek, the Senior Processor Engineer, was the safety captain for his housing pod, proudly holding the title for over 10 years. His safety meetings although mandatory, were light and fun.

"Chuck" as he was known, made sure at the meeting that the kids got donuts, and the adults got a cold Aspen. Marachuk was also a legend on Hadley's Hope as he was a rare "Original 12" member, being one of the original 12 colonists who first settled LV-426.

He was liked and well respected, having worked for The Company for over 19 years.

He was looking forward to retiring and returning to his family on Mars.
