Who remembers this girl?
One year post a DV situation with a rogue roommate that rocked me to my core. Never publicly acknowledged my trauma.
I had taken time to heal and became aware of the power of my desires and was happy to see things come to fruition.
My theme song was Backstrokin’
This year was when “Ángeles” was written and recorded. I unashamedly rocked my fur coats, stoles and capes. Was often seen in a Pendleton n slacks or a fully sequined gown at carshows. Living life as it was fully intended.
I met so many people, went to Hollywood casting calls & auditions, was in a friend’s feature film, participated in Ms Mooneyes Pageant, had regular studio sessions, attended countless shows and events.
At the time I was a CNA, doing hair & nails in a retirement home community, acting & modeling. I was able to be at 4 events in one day and dance from 8pm-2am without so much as fluttering an eyelash. Life was magical and I was so eager to live and experience it. I was so young, yet already so wise. I felt like I had already lived several lives.
This girl would be so proud to know how much was accomplished in spite of all the adversity & that so many of her dreams came true.
Definitely bringing 2016 energy into 2026 ✨🥰
