While you were sleeping… 🌙✨ skilled artists were hard at work restoring the breathtaking murals and ceiling paint at the Los Angeles City Hall Main Street entrance, elevator lobby.

To preserve the historic beauty of this iconic space without disrupting daily operations, the restoration team worked night shifts, meticulously reviving intricate details that had faded over time. The result? A stunning transformation that brings new life to these timeless works of art, ensuring they continue to inspire generations to come.

Next time you visit City Hall, take a moment to look up and appreciate the craftsmanship of the past—now shining brighter than ever!

All of the restoration work is managed by our non-profit organization which relies on private donations and grants.

By next Christmas, we hope to complete restoration of Residence A, the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed guest house in Barnsdall Park. Work continues, and we're excited to share the progress.

In the double-height living room, golden plaster finishes have been replicated and original red gum wood trimwork gleams once again! Fireplaces are at the heart of many Wright designs, and Residence A is no exception. Structural work is still being done here, but soon we'll restore the cast concrete and inglenook bench that frame this feature.
