Yesterday was one of those quietly special days. The kind that reminds me why I love photographing artists in their element. I spent the afternoon with a mother-daughter duo teaching a basket weaving workshop in their beautiful old barn, rain pouring outside, lobster chowder on the stove, blueberry pie for dessert. Maine doing what it does best.

There’s something grounding about witnessing craft passed down through generations, especially here at home.

Also—my basket obsession is now totally justified. I know how to make one (sort of).

Solène Elizabeth Broselle was born peacefully at home on October 28th, just as the morning sun peaked through the windows. We’ve been soaking in this magical newborn haze ever since. She’s everything and more than we could have ever imagined. 🤍
