LAUNCH:LA supports early‑career Los Angeles‑based dance makers by lifting the economic burden of creating new work. Selected artists receive three weeks of rehearsal space, time, financial support, and a fully produced shared‑bill performance series in our DTLA studio and theater.
If you’re an emerging choreographer living and creating in LA, from any background, discipline, or ability, this residency is designed for you. Interdisciplinary proposals welcome.
Residency Period: October 19 – November 8, 2026
Stipend: $3,000 artist stipend + $2,750 production stipend
Culmination: 4 fully produced performances at 2245

The final performance of City of Dance unfolded today at , completing a twelve‑performance, nine‑location program across Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Thank you to the many communities who met us for free public art throughout the city. We’ll be sharing more reflections and highlights soon. For now, a glimpse of today’s performance.
