My last major television gig was 2018 😭, TOS GS (top of show guest star) for . They chauffeured me to & from the airport, flew me business class to Hawaii, & I got cash per diem. These were all perks SAG-AFTRA fought for. Streamers need to pay their fair share, too.

Also, the AMPTP wanting to offer a ONE DAY RATE for background to be scanned and their likeness to be used FOREVER HOWEVER the studios want for NO ADDITIONAL PAY is so evil and laughable in its cheapness.

Probably true in many states with right to work but…There’s a certain producer guy in my home state (Michigan) who only does ultra low budget stuff telling actors not to join the union and basically screw sag and screw the strike. Welp, hope all the non-union actors see this! If you want to go professional one day, is it really worth it for that unprotected $100/day or deferred payment acting gig? Because you will be banned from ever joining the union.

We are striking so actors can make a LIVABLE WAGE! If these CEOs don’t get it, fire them. Between their hundreds of millions in bonuses you’ll have enough to pay all cast and crew the new rates we’re asking for.
