is the Butterfly Cut back, or was it ever gone?
either way it’s one of my favorite hairstyles but I’m going to advice you not to even attempt it unless you are prepared to make your clients look absolutely gorgeous! ✨
I’m going to go out on a limb and say you “Must Have” a Airlight Pro Blowdryer, it’s literally going to cut down on your blowdrying time so you can get more clients done faster, with less effort and a healthier looking finish. That’s because it drys with Infrared Light Technology instead of dry heat. Plus you can program specific settings and save them to use on specific clients with specific needs.
Don’t believe me just see the results for yourself.
Here are my TIPS for styling the trending Butterfly Cut-
Apply your products then rough dry to get hair 75-80% dry
Use a metal comb to combat pesky cowlicks at the root especially around the hairline
Use a flat paddle brush at the mid-lengths to create bends bounce and natural movement
I made the mistake of using a large round brush to get the perfect flip on the ends and they never lasted, now I use a small round brush and you should too
Hope you enjoyed these tips, lets me know in the comments how they work out for you and share any tips you may have so we can all learn together 🫶

I’ve never wanted to admit this before, but maybe I am the drama. Well I’m definitely the antagonist in my own story.
Made this little edit using BTS from my filming days in Paris judging the Styling and Color Trophy competition 2025 so that you guys could see how silly I really am, since I never really get to show you guys this side of me.
Sometimes you have to laugh at yourself and not take yourself so seriously specially during these hard times we’re living through.

On the beach is where I belong, it’s where I feel at peace and where I feel most complete. 🏝️ ☀️ 🐚
Also I set a goal to find these pants (which were on my Brazil mood-board) and it’s a testament to how well I manifest because I found them at a little boutiques by the beach.
