“Finnick entered the room that the fireflies led him to and inside he found a locked chest on a table. Unsure how to open it, he tried the key his friend Rory the Rhinoceros gave him. The chest opened! It revealed a VIOLIN. The fireflies began to get excited as Finnick grabbed the violin and attempted to play it. He’s never learned to play the violin before…but somehow, magically, he played a perfect song in tune! The fireflies joyously danced around him! And he could have sworn the tree danced with them as well when suddenly flowers appeared on the branches outside. Perhaps Rory was right. Maybe music does make living things grow.” 🎻 Day 30 of . This one was fun! I love learning about fungi so much so I knew I wanted to add mushrooms into my fox adventure story! Some may have noticed my 1st inktober illustration had a little girl with a mushroom backpack. I was trying to foreshadow what would come in the future! 😁
