Disney v Netflix may be a dueling it out for years to come but execs from both cos (and many others) set aside their differences and had yet another exceptional evening out. We all coalesced last Thursday for a Dining Well At Republique event full of epic food and idea sharing. Our audio obsession continues...Wondery Media mtg this morning with their CCO. This LA 🌴 based audio-first media company founded by ex-Fox executive Hernan Lopez has arguably the most Big and Indy Hollywood DNA in the space. What does that bring? A few important holistic POVs that have an early stage seat at the development table such as...a strong penchant for and obsession with premium storytelling, an understanding of brand building and IP “franchisability”, and the importance of focus while being mindful of necessary business diversification.
